What’s new for events in Anaheim? The Southern California city is expecting to host nearly 1 million attendees in 2024, said Visit Anaheim Senior Vice President, Sales & Services Ronnie Collins. Hotels across the country are renovating their meeting spaces while a new boutique hotel brand recently made its debut outside of Atlanta.  W Boston W Boston completed a multi-million-dollar renovation of its 5,438-square-foot (sf) meeting and event space, which began in June of last year. After almost seven decades of operating at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, the Tropicana Las Vegas will close its doors on April 2, just two days shy of its 67th anniversary. The 1,470-room resort is slated for decommissioning and demolition to clear the way for a $1.5 billion, 30,000-seat professional baseball stadium and integrated resort, according to Bally’s Corporation, which has owned the Rat Pack-era hotel-casino since 2022.
