Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive Now Offering Special Incentives for Group Meetings

November 22, 2017

Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is offering a special incentive program for groups who book and host events now through March 31, 2018. Planners can save 10% off the final bill while also earning extra benefits including triple the Wyndham Rewards go meet points and a complimentary beer and wine reception for the group.

"We want planners to know that whether you have months or mere weeks to plan a spectacular meeting or event, Wyndham Orlando Resort has got your back with well-appointed guestrooms and versatile meeting spaces for any occasion," said Charlie Kingston, general manager of Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive.

The Wyndham Orlando Resort features 60,000 square feet of newly revitalized meeting space, including 34 flexible spaces, an executive boardroom and two grand ballrooms, plus 14,000 square feet of outdoor event space.

Meeting rooms range in size from 520 square feet to 18,480 square feet. All meeting rooms feature audio/visual and technical capabilities, professional sound systems, and both wired and WiFi internet access. The hotel also offers diverse catering options and an on-site AV team.

John Goodman, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, commented on some of the other amenities currently available as part of this incentive.

“Planners will be able to reduce their budget with 10% savings on most master account charges, plus make their attendees very happy with free basic WiFi in all meeting space and a one hour complimentary beer and wine reception,” said Goodman.

“Additionally, we will award planners with triple Wyndham Rewards points that can be used for a well-deserved vacation without blackout dates,” he continued.

The Wyndham Orlando Resort is the official hotel of I-Drive 360, International Drive's new $250 million entertainment complex and home to the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye. The resort also offers a complimentary shuttle to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld Orlando theme parks. There are also two pools, a fitness center and sauna and steam room.

The hotel is just 12 miles from Orlando International Airport, one mile to the Orange County Convention Center and convenient to downtown Orlando.

All group meetings booked and held between now and March 31, 2018 will qualify for the incentives. To get the triple go meet points, the planner must provide the sales manager with their Wyndham Rewards number and have that included in the contract at the time of booking.

Wyndham Rewards go meet® is the first formal rewards program of its kind catering to both professional and casual planners across every hotel segment. Planners who are members of the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program can earn one point for every dollar spent on qualifying revenue at participating hotels, regardless of billing method; with no minimum spend requirement and no maximum point limit. On average, meeting planners earn 45,000 points per meeting, enough for three free nights at any of Wyndham Hotel Group's more than 8,000 hotels around the world.

Planners can register for the Wyndham Rewards go meet program at www.wyndhamrewards.com/gomeet.
