The Westin Indianapolis

Westin Indianapolis meeting space

The Westin Indianapolis recently completed an extensive multimillion-dollar property-wide renovation that has upgraded its guest rooms, public spaces, dining and meeting venues, and created an additional dining outlet and a new event space. Operated by Davidson Hotels, the 574-room, 15-story hotel is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, immediately adjacent and connected via skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center.

The refreshed property features a full lobby redesign that mimics Indianapolis’ lush outdoor spaces and rich greenery, with nature-inspired art installations, a prominent vertical garden and infused wood accents.

All guest rooms have undergone a full restoration, with new accent wallcoverings, area rugs and light-colored wood accompaniments. All bathrooms have been expanded in size, with 70 percent of them offering large walk-in showers.

The property’s 42,500 square feet of meeting and event spaces have also been completely overhauled and feature appealing décor, carpet and lighting inspired by the landscape and history of the city and destination. Located on the hotel’s second level, the new 3,500-sq.-ft. Capitol Overlook event space offers dramatic panoramic views of the Indiana State Capitol.

Ten Hands Social Bar & Eatery, the hotel’s new bar and restaurant, features a modern yet retro style, the largest TV screen in the city, comprising 27 screens measuring 6 feet tall and 34 ft. long, and an outdoor patio overlooking the State Capitol Building. Additionally, the recently opened carryout outlet, Ten Hands Market, offers quick, grab-and-go meals.

The Omni Fort Worth Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, recently completed a more than $10 million renovation and refresh project that has enhanced its lobby, meeting space and 618 guest rooms. Fresh, Western-themed design elements inspired by the “Lone Star” charm of the city include sophisticated fabrics and finishes contrasted with rustic materials.

The property also unveiled 22 iconic western brand-themed suites in partnership with three local boot, saddle, cowboy hat and apparel brands. Inspired by Leddy, Resistol and Wrangler, the roomy suites include cowboy-inspired décor, handcrafted, tooled leather touches, etched glassware, photography and other unique amenities.

Nestled between Cambridge and Boston and situated along the scenic Charles River with sweeping views of the water and Boston skyline, the iconic 479-room hotel is operated by Davidson Hotels.

The collegiate-inspired renovation features a full redesign of the property’s entrance and lobby, showcasing a traditional and scholarly atmosphere and aesthetic combined with industrial details, eclectic furniture and customized art pieces.

The hotel’s 25,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space has been fully upgraded, with décor and design elements reflective of the destination’s rich history and adjacent river. Within all 19 meeting venues, including three ballrooms and a pavilion, groups have access to advanced technology as well as a meeting concierge service and localized group activity options.

Paperback Tavern is the property’s new bar and restaurant, offering classic American and regional fare, innovative cocktails and craft brews paired with expansive, unrivaled views of the river and city of Boston. Additionally, Paperback Provisions is a new market-style carryout outlet featuring a custom coffee bar, house-made pastries, breakfast sandwiches and other quick meal options.

Bordering the ballroom is the outdoor 3,600-sq.-ft. Regency Terrace, which features an expansive view of Hamilton’s harbor, which was previously blocked pre-renovation.

Opened in 1885 and widely known as the “Grande Dame” of Bermuda and nicknamed “The Pink Palace,” the elegant resort is just a five-minute walk from downtown Hamilton and is home to Bermuda’s first and only full-service hotel marina.
