More Than $300 Million in Business Signed for CAESARS FORUM, Opening March 2020
CAESARS FORUM is set to open in Las Vegas in seven months, and Caesars Entertainment has already secured more than $300 million in business for the new, 550,000-square-foot conference facility. Officials announced that in the last 18 months, more than 125 contracts for meetings and events have been signed, 75 percent of which represent new business.
The $375 million conference center, which can accommodate more than 10,000 attendees, will hold LEED Silver certification and features the world's two largest pillarless ballrooms, each equivalent to one football field.
"I am thrilled with the progress of the CAESARS FORUM build,” said Michael Massari, chief sales officer for Caesars Entertainment, adding that demand is high for the new space. "Our bookings far exceed our initial projections.”
To date, meetings and events industry leaders including Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Cvent, ConferenceDirect and HelmsBriscoe have selected CAESARS FORUM for their future annual meetings.
Caesars Entertainment also named the leadership team that will oversee operations at the new facility. Bill Dosch will serve as executive director of catering and convention services starting in May 2019. The operations team, consisting of Director of Catering and Convention Services Vikki Kydd; Director of Catering and Convention Services Derrod McKinney; Assistant Director of Catering and Convention Services Jennifer Black; Senior Catering and Convention Services Manager Jamie Fox, and Director of Banquet Operations Matt Nitsche, will report to Dosch.
“We thank our industry partners for all their support,” Massari said. He also expressed pleasure that the newly-named CAESARS FORUM leadership team includes staff hired from within the Caesars Entertainment family.
CAESARS FORUM will be the first conference facility of its size to be built on a single level. The building incorporates a biophilic design aesthetic, with natural lighting, ventilation and greenery that will adorn the main lobby. The concept of biophilia is to create a healthier and more productive environment for people through a closer connection with nature (you may recall the 2011 Bjork album “Biophilia,” which explored the links between nature, music and technology).

The two 110,000 sq. ft. pillarless ballrooms are serviced by multiple loading docks. If needed, a semi-trailer can be driven straight into the facility, which also features two 40,000 sq. ft. ballrooms and six state-of-the-art boardrooms with glass walls that can be changed from transparent or opaque at the touch of a button. An additional 100 breakout rooms round out the space options for conferences.
Oversized windows bordering on the outdoor 100,000 sq. ft. Forum Plaza let in natural light and can open like garage doors, allowing an indoor/outdoor flow for receptions. Parking will be available both in a nearby lot and underground.
CAESARS FORUM will be directly connected to the Las Vegas Monorail as well as to 8,500 hotel rooms at Harrah's Las Vegas, LINQ Hotel + Experience and Flamingo Las Vegas. Harrah’s is just a five-minute walk away via a skybridge, and an additional 20,000 Caesars Entertainment hotel rooms are within a short walking distance.
