Unique Venues and Transformative Spaces: Enclave Las Vegas
From black box spaces to renovated castles to cinemas, there are unique and transformative spaces around the globe. This ongoing series of articles will highlight a few of the many options available for corporate events.
The ability to take a blank slate and make it something amazing, unique and memorable is many planners’ dream. Enclave, a venue located just minutes from McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip, offers you the ability to brand to your heart’s desire without needing to worry about infrastructure, permits and individually sourced suppliers.
Enclave is a three story, 45,000 square foot multi-purpose special events venue that can hold up to 2,500 attendees. The venue offers 17 meeting rooms that range from 147 sq. ft. to the 9,000 sq. ft. Signature room, which can hold up to 900 attendees seated. A 5,000 sq. ft. rooftop and the 90,000 sq. ft. parking lot provide options for outdoor events and receptions as well — and can even be used for fairs and festivals.
David Watts, Enclave’s executive director, said that Enclave appeals both to groups who have held many events in Las Vegas and are looking for something different, and to those who want space close to but not in the thick of the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip. But the thing that is most unusual and appealing about the space is its ability to be transformed.
“There are so many options for creativity in how you can present products, services and ideas to your clients,” Watts said.
As opposed to a typical venue, Enclave’s walls are all white, perfect for Gobo projections and lighting. Groups don’t even need to rent screens: they can opt to project directly on the walls, opening up options for more creative room sets. The floor is also neutral — no patterned, brightly colored carpeting.
One benefit of holding an event at Enclave is the technology. Connectivity is literally built into the walls in the form of a fiber-optic network, enabling groups to easily share presentations and live broadcasts between rooms without the time and extra expense of running additional wires and cables. The venue also contains video walls, including a wall in the large entry foyer space.
Enclave can also be used for recording green screen productions and interviews. The Signature room’s walls and ceiling are designed with the perfect acoustics in mind. The venue is also equipped with a production room, green room and dressing rooms.
Planners hosting events at Enclave can leverage the venue’s sister company, 3G Productions, for one-stop production and audio-visual needs, plus contract labor. 3G has an office onsite at Enclave, eliminating worries about last-minute equipment needs.
Watts also said that planners have multiple options for catering. There is a full-service kitchen on property, and food trucks can also be brought into the parking lot.
Enclave also has 400 free parking spots (a rarity in Las Vegas these days) and offers complimentary WiFi throughout the venue.
The way Watts described Enclave, anything is possible.
“We can fly drones. We have shooting LED sparklers. We have elephant doors that open up into the Signature room: they’re 15 feet high by 11 feet wide, so you can drive huge vehicles into the space. We have 40 tons of rigging capacity in there too — you can hang a train from the ceiling,” he said.
