Virtual Reality Tour Helps Remote Clients Envision Meetings at 30 Euston Square

October 27, 2017

30 Euston Square, home of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), is a conference, meetings and events venue in the heart of London. Conveniently situated near London Euston train station and the Euston Square tube station, it is in a prime location for meetings and events.

The venue combines Victorian grandeur with modern event spaces, including an auditorium with exhibition space, boardrooms, and 18 meeting and training rooms that vary in size and dimension.

The 300-seat auditorium is equipped with a state-of-the-art screen, 3D projector and surround sound speakers, making it a great fit for video conferencing and streaming. Two penthouse State Rooms with a rooftop terrace offer a unique setting for a corporate event venue for up to 216 guests or standing reception events for 230.

The venue also features 41 sleeping rooms, providing a four-star hotel experience at competitive prices, as well as Café Caritas, situated by the main reception area and which can be accessed through the building’s main historical entrance.

Now planners no longer have to rely on written descriptions to envision exactly what their meeting might look like within this venue. Using cutting-edge technology, 30 Euston Square has rolled out a 360-degree virtual reality tour featuring genuine event footage. This is in addition to the immersive floorplans, which provide a birds-eye view and dimensions for each space within the venue.

“Site visits are the most important part of the sales process, however there are times when a client cannot attend in person or certain parts of the venue are in use when they do so,” explained Stuart Gavin, sales and marketing manager of 30 Euston Square.

He added, “Our interactive and immersive virtual reality tour gives clients the chance to experience all we have to offer from afar. They can see the venue in action, walk amongst other guests and truly appreciate what 30 Euston Square actually feels like during different types of events.”

Using the venue’s core messages, including the blending of traditional and modern, innovation, state-of-the-art audio visual and guest satisfaction as a story board, the video tour demonstrates how 30 Euston Square’s meeting rooms, exhibition and auditorium space and rooftop terrace can be used for various types of events. Viewers are then taken on a journey that includes meetings, conferences and seasonal parties.

The tour is of particular value to corporate event planners.

“Our corporate clients in particular will benefit from the virtual reality tour as it includes live footage from recent corporate events at 30 Euston Square,” Gavin said.

He continued, “This allows them to see the venue being used by organizations similar to their own and to truly understand how they can also make the most of our conference, meeting and event spaces.”

The venue is run and managed by Searcys, one of the U.K.’s most prestigious catering companies that was Founded in 1847. This has given 30 Euston Square a reputation for stunning catering and hospitality using locally sourced and seasonally produced ingredients.
