On Jan. 3, midtown Nashville’s 180-room Kimpton Aertson Hotel completed its 17^th floor indoor and outdoor event venue, Woodlea. The nearly 4,500 square foot rooftop showcases 270-degree panoramic views of downtown Nashville and Vanderbilt’s campus and can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Canada’s long-awaited Halifax Convention Centre opened on Dec. 15, 2017. The new $170M development, which is located in the city's downtown, features more than 120,000 square feet of new flexible events space.
